The hotel's decoration is absolutely charming, with a beautiful blend of rustic and modern elements. The converted mill has been tastefully renovated, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel are well-maintained and offer a sense of tranquility. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the ground floor garden room to be perfect for me, especially since I have trouble with stairs. It was delightful to have a private terrace to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
It would have been even more enjoyable if there were more activities or amenities specifically designed for senior people. Maybe some gentle exercise classes or organized outings catered towards our age group could have been offered.

had a fantastic stay in Pornic! The breakfasts at Le Moulin were delightful, and we met so many interesting people during our 9-day stay. The owner was friendly and helpful, and their Welsh Collie was a talented footballer who kept us entertained. The value for money was exceptional, and I highly recommend it!

A Garden Oasis: Surrounded by a lush garden, the hotel felt like a hidden oasis, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city life. It was delightful to sip my morning coffee while listening to the birds chirping and feeling the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves.

Our room was absolutely mind-blowing with its large and airy space, and the huge comfy bed was jaw-droppingly comfortable. The characterful old mill next to the hotel was a unique and charming addition. Having on-site parking was super convenient, and the fact that there was a bakery adjacent made breakfast even more delightful. The host Jean Michel was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and his playful dog who loves football added a fun touch to our stay. The breakfast itself was fantastic, with homemade jams and great coffee that left us in awe. The location of the hotel was great as well, with the lovely town of Pornic nearby and easy access to the beautiful beaches and St Ghilda's point. We had a fabulous time and would definitely go back.

Enjoyed hiking and fishing. Multilingual staff helped with my laundry and I used their microwave. Beautiful terrace and garden with lovely views. Brought my own food and cooked in their shared kitchen. The complimentary continental breakfast was a treat!
Oh, I just loved finding a dirty tissue and a blood spot on the duvet cover. The scuffed walls and dusty room were simply charming.

the host, Jean-Michel, was incredibly welcoming and always had a smile on his face. the highlight of my stay was his adorable Border Collie, Garou, who would greet guests and play with them. the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with many personal touches that made the stay feel extra special. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👍.
